Sunday Swim Feedback Form

Sundays 8.50am, Barnstaple Leisure Centre

We have just completed a winter technique programme and now the focus is turning to racing. There is a varied ability at these sessions from first time triathletes to 3.8k swim race winners. The club currently operates two lanes, a higher and lower ability lane.

Recently we have completed a Video Analysis Session for each of the swimmers. We are now completing feedback sessions for small groups to give the athletes a better understanding of their technique and what they need to focus on. See videos soon to appear on the right....

Due to the success of these sessions the club will be looking to expand the capacity we can cope with by adding extra lanes and/or sessions and/or coaches. This will all begin next winter as the sessions go through a lull period whilst everybody goes out to kick some butt!

Also look out for coached open water sessions at Bude in the coming weeks TBC

Transition/Brick Training

An addition to the summer programme as the clubs members turn their focus to world triathlon domination. Triathlon is often defined as having three disciplines, incorrect. Triathlon has 4 disciplines.

Many of the clubs members could improve their Transitions.
Session 1 MAY 3RD: Transitions Demonstrations / Talk - Multi Brick Turbo - Run Session

Session start at 10am Charge £3. The session will last approx 1hr45 at Braunton Athletics Track.

Further sessions to focus upon Bike Position / Technique and Run Technique, whilst maintaining a Brick theme.

Cycling

Bike sessions are informally organised through the Forum.

Running

Most run sessions are also arranged through the Forum with some informal Track Sessions in the Summer as well as a wide variety of on/off road training.
